Hudson Pacific Capital Partners LLC’s team integrates maritime industry leadership, private equity transaction experience, and industrial operating expertise to support complex investment initiatives.

Mike Stepp

Mike Stepp is the Managing Partner of Hudson Pacific Capital Partners and brings deep experience in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and capital markets. Over his career, he has led or participated in more than 100 transactions across private equity, manufacturing, technology, and financial services. 
Mr. Stepp previously served as Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Collins & Aikman Corporation, where he led the integration, restructuring, and recapitalization of a $4 billion enterprise. He also served as Senior Managing Director and acquisitions partner at Heartland Industrial Partners, where he helped build a global Tier 1 manufacturing platform through multiple acquisitions. 
He holds a BS from the United States Military Academy and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Alan Colletti

Alan Colletti is an engineering, operations, and risk management advisor with extensive experience supporting maritime assets across their full lifecycle—from acquisition and reflagging through long-term operations and the replacement of newbuilds. He has advised investors and asset owners on vessel operations, shipyard performance, regulatory compliance, safety management, and dispute resolution. Earlier in his career, he held senior operating roles overseeing tanker fleets and capital programs. 
Mr. Colletti holds a BS from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.

Dan Dobbins

Dan Dobbins brings extensive experience working with private equity portfolio companies and operating businesses across manufacturing and specialty industrial sectors. He has held senior executive roles in automotive, textile, and specialty manufacturing enterprises, including serving as Executive Vice President of a $400 million automotive supplier and as Vice President within global Tier 1 automotive platforms. His experience includes operational leadership, restructuring execution, and sponsor-aligned exit-strategy implementation, supporting Hudson Pacific Capital Partners LLC’s platform development and operational value creation.

Charlie Johnson

Charlie Johnson is a veteran financial executive with over five decades of leadership in asset-based lending and specialty finance. His experience spans credit underwriting, portfolio management, restructurings, and enterprise governance across manufacturing, transportation, distribution, and service sectors. 
Mr. Johnson has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of a publicly traded finance company and has held senior leadership roles at major banks and independent finance firms. He provides Hudson Pacific clients with deep expertise in capital structure design, credit risk evaluation, and investor downside protection.

Tom Keenan

Tom Keenan is a maritime operations executive with decades of experience managing technical, operational, and regulatory risk across large U.S.-flag commercial fleets. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Marine Operations at Liberty Maritime, overseeing engineering, operations, insurance, crewing, procurement, and regulatory compliance. 
Mr. Keenan provides governance-level oversight and execution discipline for maritime investment programs. He is a graduate of SUNY Maritime College and holds a U.S. Coast Guard engineering license.

Ron McAlear

Ron McAlear is a maritime industry executive with leadership experience spanning new construction, vessel repair, industrial modernization, and shipyard operations. He has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of major U.S. ship repair and construction enterprises, overseeing capital-intensive programs and complex industrial operations. Mr. McAlear brings deep expertise in shipyard selection, newbuild contracting, and industrial base coordination—critical to executing fleet renewal and modernization initiatives.

Graham Tompson

Graham Tompson has over 35 years of executive leadership experience in global automotive component manufacturing, engineering, and product development. He previously served as Senior Vice President at Collins & Aikman, where he led global development teams across multiple countries and established technical centers to support product innovation and cost discipline. Mr. Tompson brings expertise in engineering-driven manufacturing environments, global operational integration, and platform scaling strategies.

Mark W. Yonge

Mark Yonge is a nationally recognized expert in America’s Marine Highways and short sea shipping initiatives. He is the Founder and Managing Member of Maritime Transport & Logistics Advisors, LLC, where he advises industry participants, port authorities, and government agencies on marine transportation strategy, program development, and federal maritime initiatives. His experience provides Hudson Pacific Capital Partners LLC and its clients with insight into government programs, policy alignment, and scalable U.S. marine transportation strategies.
