Mr. Johnson has been associated with the asset based lending, factoring and structured finance industry for more than 35 years. His career experience includes successfully building an organization from scratch into a $1 billion asset based lending player in less than three years, and reorganizing and salvaging shareholder value for a publicly traded specialty finance company in eighteen months. He also held various positions of responsibility with several major banks and finance companies covering all aspects of marketing, business development, field examination, underwriting, systems, operations and account management.


Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Georgetown University, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Hartford. He is a past President and Chairman of the Commercial Finance Association (CFA), the international trade association of the asset based lending and factoring industry based in New York City.  He is a past member of the National Association of Credit Managers, the Piedmont Credit Club, and the Association for Corporate Growth and the Turnaround Management Association.  He has testified in front of Congressional Committees on matters related to perfection of security interest in intellectual property, and provided expert witness testimony on various matters related to secured lending and factoring.
